Short cv:

I am a Higher University Technician in Fisheries Technology, Mention Aquaculture and Oceanography, graduated from the Instituto Universitario de Tecnologías del Mar (IUTEMAR), Fundación La Salle de Ciencias Naturales (FLASA). I have more than 12 years of experience as an oceanographer developed in the CARIACO Time Series Station, where I have trained as a researcher.
Over time I have dedicated myself to the Marine Optics area, being responsible for the sampling and processing of optical data from CDOM, light absorption due to particles and reflectance (Rrs) of the project. My research has focused, in general, on describing the characteristics and trends of the bio-optical properties of the water column in the CARIACO station. I have participated in the elaboration of more than 13 scientific articles and various courses and conferences.
This training will help me learn about new methods of sampling, analysis, processing and interpretation of results and will help me diversify my knowledge and skills, allowing me to learn in a different ecosystem and work environment
