Short cv:

My name is Zuleica Almeida Duarte and I am from São Nicolau, Cabo Verde.

I am an undergraduate student of Biology Sciences at the Instituto de Engenharia e Ciências do Mar of the Universidade Técnica do Atlântico (ISECMAR-UTA).  

I participated in sea turtle protection campaigns in the Santa Luzia Natural Reserve with the NGO Biosphere I.

During the NRP D. Carlos I oceanographic campaign off Cabo Verde, I will be involved in water sampling, which will be analised at the post-cruise training phase at the Instituto Hidrografico in Lisbon, Portugal.

With this training I will have the opportunity to learn more about marine chemistry and develop my Final Course Work, entitled "Physical-chemical characterization of water masses in the Cape Verde archipelago".
