Short cv:

I had my Bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Benin, Nigeria. I am currently a Research Scientist with Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (Physical and Chemical Oceanography Department), where I major on marine pollution monitoring research and evaluation of the health status of Nigerian coastal waters.

his training will give me an opportunity to have a balanced knowledge of oceanography as I will be attached to different departments within the host institute. It will enhance my knowledge on samples collection, marine sediment analysis and the interpretation of data. The cruise will also expose me to the Chemistry of Carbondioxide in seawater, which has been my desired area of utmost interest as a young scientist.
