Short CV

I am a quantitative marine scientist with a PhD from AIMS@JCU integrating meta-omics and environmental data to develop microbial biomarkers for assessing reef health. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at AIMS and the University of Melbourne, I am leading the metagenomics monitoring component of the 2024 GBR bleaching response project, focusing on prognostic microbial and eDNA markers of reef trajectory. Alongside my computational work, I am actively developing my field research experience through oceanographic expeditions and reef monitoring campaigns, hence I recently participated in the NoSoAT OceanCapX Expedition (RV Polarstern, PS151).
