Short CV
I am a physical oceanographer with a strong background in mathematics, probability, and statistics. I recently completed a Master’s degree in Physical Oceanography and Applications, focusing on the reconstruction of ocean surface currents using satellite altimetry and drifting buoy data to better understand geostrophic and ageostrophic components.
I am currently working with Dr. Mohammad Shafeeque within the TPSF Mentorship Programme on the impact of atmospheric aerosols on chlorophyll-a variability in the Arabian Sea using multi-satellite observations, including SWOT. I have also participated in international programs such as the POGO–OceanX–OceanQuest fellowship, the SOLAS Summer School, and NASA ARSET trainings. In addition, I was selected as an Early Career Ocean Professional (ECOP) within AAORIA and took part in the All-Atlantic Forum 2026 in Salvador, where our team received the All-Atlantic Forum Award.
