Short CV

I am an Environmental Analyst with the Fisheries Scientific Survey Division of the Fisheries Commission of Ghana, where I specialize in oceanographic data collection and analysis to support sustainable fisheries management. My work involves monitoring key marine environmental parameters such as sea surface temperature, salinity, pH, and total dissolved solids. I collaborate with national and international partners, including the Ghana Meteorological Agency and the University of Ghana under the GMES Africa initiative, integrating in-situ and remote sensing data for improved marine environmental assessment and fisheries governance. I hold a Master’s degree in fisheries science from Pukyong National University in the Republic of Korea, where my research focuses on fish genetics, molecular ecology, and phylogenetics, particularly using mitochondrial DNA markers for species identification and evolutionary studies. My academic and professional experience includes molecular analysis of marine fish species, genetic diversity assessment, and contributions to research on population structure and conservation of West African marine resources.
